I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Happy Anniversary Jana & Dondi! 1 year today!

Zion Canyon

The girls loved riding on the shuttle

We hiked up to the Emerald Pools. At the second pool, Anthony and I took a wrong turn and ended up 30 minutes off the route. Everyone was a ways ahead of us because our family went in flip flops, we won't be doing that ever again, and we had NO idea where we were going. Anth was pretty mad that nobody stayed back with us. Especially when we took the wrong turn because that's how people get lost. It's a good thing I had the feeling we needed to turn back, who knows where the path would have taken us.

Zion Canyon is sooo pretty

Happy Birthday Daddy

Anthony is 28! On Monday morning, the week of his birthday, Anthony woke up and declaired that he was old enough to have birthday week! Monday night we bar-b-qued, Tuesday night we got a Dairy Queen icecream cake, Wednesday night, which was actually his birthday, we took him to Red Lobster for dinner, (Thanks Aunt Jana and Uncle Dondi for watching the kids)Thursday night we went to Larsens Frost Top, got icecream and then went with the kids and sat in front of the temple while we ate it, I can't remember what we did Friday night and Saturday night we went to the lake with David and Lisa. This is when David decided that the week of Anthony's birthday was going to officially be called Bubba week! A celebration for everyone that has put up with Anthony for so many years! Honey, if you ever read this, I love you! You are the best thing that has ever happened in my life. You are my sunshine on a cloudy day. You are my best friend, the one I tell everything to, the one I depend on, the one I will spend eternity with. I am so lucky to have had you by my side through out our six years of Marriage! Here's to 60 more...Come What May!

A day with Grandma Vick

One of the days we were in St. George Grandma Vick took her 7 Vick grand daughters out on the town. First we went shopping. She let each of the girls pick out an outfit of their very own. They thought this was so cool. Then we went to McDonalds and headed to the park.

Ashlynn is crying because I told her not to get in the baby swing, and if she did, I wouldn't get her out. She sat in there for quite a while. (I'm so mean)

A sleepover at the Larkins

The Saturday night before we came home we decided to go see Cindy and her family in Vegas. After a really yummy Sunday dinner, we took a walk to the park. There was a splash pad and I know it was Sunday but we ended up letting the kids play in the water anyway. It was a very relaxing day!
