I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

I Love My Man!!

With a new semester starting, and all of the crazy things that have been going on in the world, I am so grateful for Anthony. I could not imagine my life with out him. I am so proud of all that he has accomplished in the last few years. I know that he doesn't just do it for himself, but for me and the girls, and with another girl coming I am sure that he feels surrounded and out numbered. Let's face it, he is! But he is great with it all. He is such a great dad and I know without a doubt that our girls look up to him and love him. So do I. I know that there isn't anything in this world that he wouldn't do for us, and for that, I am eternally grateful. I love you Anth!

Our Trip to St. George

While visiting in St. George, we were able to see lots of friends and family. The girls had a blast being able to play with the cousins and their friends. Here are just a few of the pictures that captured each moment!

Alyssa May Vick!

It's A Girl!! The arrow is pointing to her girly parts. There's definitely nothing boy about that!
This is Alyssa's profile! She's got one hand waving above her face and one resting on top of her head.We also got to do some 3D pictures! This is Alyssa's hand right in front of her face. She wouldn't move it! Another shot of Alyssa's hand in front of her face! This is a shot of her legs hugged up tight against her body. Her little feet are up at the top, by her head.Another shot of the side of her face,... with her hand in the way! This picture is a close up of her feet. They're crossed at the ankles. We'll just have to wait until she arrives to really get a good look at her. The Doctor said that everything looked really great. Her heart was beating strong, and all of her bones and spine looked like they were developing properly. What a relief!!

The Sweetest Thing!

Josh & Natalie came up to our house yesterday with their little baby girl Lilly! I can not even tell you how cute she is!! Ashlynn thought she was just adorable. She could have held her the whole time. She loved being able to feed her! Some day, she is going to make such a great little Mommy! It was so much fun to get to see Baby Lilly and her parents! If I was baby hungry before, I'm even more so now! I can not wait to have my own 'little one' to cuddle!!

April Comes To Visit!

It was so much fun having April & her kids up here for a few days. The kids really enjoyed being able to play with each other again. Ashlynn & Oakley sure were sad when they had to say goodbye. They already have a sleep over planned for when we go down next.
One of the days that April and her kids were up here we decided to go to the Willow Park Zoo. The kids thought it was a blast! (I think Anthony & I are a little burnt out on the zoo though.)

5 Years!!

Happy Anniversary Anth! (tomorrow) I truly can't believe that we've been together for 5 wonderful years! You have become my confidant, my listener, my shoulder to cry on, my lover, my rock, my children's father, my beacon, my best friend. I love you more today than the day I fell in love with you. It's not be the gushy-lovey-dovey kind of love, it's unconditional. It's forever. I am so glad that you have chosen me to spend eternity with! I love you Honey!!
