For those of you that can discern the images in this picture, you will agree with me when I tell you that 'She is definitely a girl!' Also you can see her fingers, which are open. The Doc told us that it is a good sign that she is able to open and close her fingers. Because we were so far along none of the images were very clear. We weren't able to get any 3D shots either because her face is pressed so close up against the uterine wall, that there's no fluid between the two. I guess there needs to be for there to be any contrast in the image. In the ultra sound, she kept sticking her tongue out! The doctor was able to freeze it at just the right time so it looks like she's sticking her tongue out at all of us. Who knows, maybe she'll be the funny one in the family! She also kept opening and closing her mouth and drinking the fluid. This is good because it helps with the diaphragm and kidneys. He said they both looked great! Also, during the ultra sound, Anthony asked the doctor if she was opening and closing her eyes. He told us she was, that it was amazing too because they don't normally start doing that until they're 32 weeks! It was so neat to watch. We were also able to see up both of her nostrils which clearly indicates that there's no cleft lip. All in all I would say that the ultra sound couldn't have gone any better! She is growing and developing properly and seems to be very healthy! It still amazes me, even after three pregnancies, that babies really grow inside of us. It is so evident to me that there is a God and that He is in control. Just 9 weeks left!

Are You Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf?
What do you do with a child that is all of the sudden afraid of the dark?
Hailey will not go to bed. She keeps screaming at the top of her lungs and saying "I'm crying, I need my Mommy." It's so sad but at the same time, it's sooo funny! But,... we have NO idea what to do about it. She has never done this before. I think that I am going to try putting a picture of Jesus up on her wall so that she can wake up and remember that Jesus loves her and is watching over her.

Volunteering!
Today Hailey and I volunteered at Ashlynn's school. We've gone numerous times before but I always forget to take my camera. To bad this time I forgot I had it until half the day was over, but here are some of the things they got to do today! Everything that they do at school causes a HUGE mess but they have so much fun playing and learning about different things. Hailey really loves going, she feels like a big girl when she gets to go with Ashlynn to school. I think Ashlynn really loves having us come to, but I'm not so sure I'm going to go much more. They wear me out! I feel like I'm getting slow. I guess that's bound to happen though. I've got just about 2 1/2 months left!!

Welcome Home Ian!
It was really great to be able to see Ian come home. I can't believe that's it's been 2 years already! We told him that the years would just fly by but oh how quickly they did!! To think, Hailey was only 7 months old when he left is crazy. Ian looked great! he has grown in so many ways and shrunk in others!! His spirit was jumping out of his tiny body! Yes, tiny. He lost so much weight, but I'm sure that with some American food in him, it won't take long for him to 'beef' back up! Welcome home Ian! We sure missed having you around!!
