I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Aiden Shenanigans.

Haha! Aiden got into my makeup and I barely got a picture of him! He did NOT want me to get a picture of it but I was not about to pass this up. Haha! He even got the blush where it was supposed to be!! Little stinker...

Mom bit me.

Yesterday at church, Anthony asked what happened to Aidens cheek. When he got a little closer we noticed it was lipstick so we asked him if Grandma, who was sitting near us, had kissed him. His eyes got weird and he said, "No one kissed me, Mom bit me." Haha! What?!!

Closet Office!!

Anthony is making me a closet office so we can get the computer out of Aidens room!! I can't wait for it to be finished so that I can decorate a fun boy room for Aiden!!

Funny Selfies {April 2915}

We had to wait around for a few minutes for Anthony to fix some stuff at a co workers house. The kids were getting a little stir crazy so we played around taking funny selfies. I sure love these kiddos!!!

Meet our new van!!! {April 2015}

I got online one day and decided to check out Stephen Wade's website for a van. Last year we drove a town and country and new we wanted one! But the one we drove was just a little out of our price range! This one, however, wasn't! They let us drive it around for a few days and we decided this van was the one for us!! We love it SO much!!

Ashlynn gets her braces on! {April 19th 2015}

Today is the day!! Ashlynn woke up excited and couldn't wait to get the the orthodontist! We had a few errands to run and ended up waiting in Ivins at Grandma Mackleys house till the appointment time. While we were there, I got a phone call from the orthodontists office asking why we hadn't made our appointment! Apparently our appointment was at 10:30, not 1:30!!! So we ran in as fast as we could and they were only able to put her tops on! They will put the lowers on in a month or so. Whoops!

Isn't she just so cute!!

Love this girl so much! She is getting so big!

April 2015

During Conference weekend, we finally got around to planting our garden! This year we decided to make rows to water instead of using a sprinkler system... hopefully that will help with the weeds because they were so bad last year, they completely overtook the garden!

I finally got a little of Ashlynn's room decorated! IT is DEFINITELY not done by any means, but it feels good to make a little bit of progress.

The other night we had to run to walmart. We ended up taking all the kids and Anthony snuck This bow and arrow into the shopping cart. Aiden thought it was pretty cool!! He's actually REALLY good at it!

Ashlynn had to do the science fair for school. Of course Anthony talked her into doing something super complicated so he was the only one that could help her with it... and of course he didn't do it till days before it was due!! So we were up super late for nights in a row...

but it turned out great!

 she was really proud of it and I'm REALLY proud of her!!!

Mom & Dad Vick got their mission call!!
We all took a poll and made guesses for where we thought they were going...
I guessed England...
and they got called to Manchester ENGLAND!!!
They leave June 29th!
We sure will miss them but know that they will be amazing and are needed there!

March 2015

Alyssa really is turning into a funny beautiful girl.
This month, she lost another tooth! Her tooth fairy forgot to come that night so while she was at school the next day, she finally paid a visit and left her a $1.

Funny girl.

The kids finally got me to go to Parents and pastries at the school. Aiden especially thought it was fun!

Anthony sure has been busy fixing up the house for me! He has been building cupboards at school and was finally able to bring them home for me!

Yay!! They look SO good!

LOVE them!!... Now I need lowers! Haha!

Getting a deadbolt and a peep hole!! Yay! So happy I have my own Mr. Fixer!

Aiden was being naughty, so I sent him to his room. He was being really quiet and when I checked to see where he was, this is where I found him. :) Contemplating his actions.

Aiden LOVES to vacuum! He would vacuum for hours if I could handle the noise!! But if I ever have a spot, he's the guy for the job!

 Love this kid so much! He grows up so much everyday...

Little stinker never eats anything without picking it apart first!

Sydney & Olivia came to stay with Grandma & Grandpa Vick and she took the kids to the Washington Rec center. We love to play with cousins! They are the best!

Hailey FINALLY got her braces off! She couldn't have been more excited about it either.
She had them on for 2 years!!!

Hailey Ann, you look beautiful!

Now it's Ashlynn's turn for braces!!! I am so glad that we have the insurance to do this for our kids. It is so important for them.

Aiden hates getting his haircut but when I suggested he cut it, he thought that was a great idea! Letting him do it for a bit made it so I could get my turn as well!

And it turned out great!

We babysat Nova for Cindy and Bryce while they went on a trip to the Caribbean, but we only ended up having her for 2 days because our cat Bella took one look at her and ran off! She wouldn't come home for anything! Wouldn't even let us feed her! So we took Nova to stay with Grandma & Grandpa Mackley... a day and a half later, Bella came home and has been happy since. :)
