I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

March 2015

Alyssa really is turning into a funny beautiful girl.
This month, she lost another tooth! Her tooth fairy forgot to come that night so while she was at school the next day, she finally paid a visit and left her a $1.

Funny girl.

The kids finally got me to go to Parents and pastries at the school. Aiden especially thought it was fun!

Anthony sure has been busy fixing up the house for me! He has been building cupboards at school and was finally able to bring them home for me!

Yay!! They look SO good!

LOVE them!!... Now I need lowers! Haha!

Getting a deadbolt and a peep hole!! Yay! So happy I have my own Mr. Fixer!

Aiden was being naughty, so I sent him to his room. He was being really quiet and when I checked to see where he was, this is where I found him. :) Contemplating his actions.

Aiden LOVES to vacuum! He would vacuum for hours if I could handle the noise!! But if I ever have a spot, he's the guy for the job!

Love this kid so much! He grows up so much everyday...

Little stinker never eats anything without picking it apart first!

Sydney & Olivia came to stay with Grandma & Grandpa Vick and she took the kids to the Washington Rec center. We love to play with cousins! They are the best!

Hailey FINALLY got her braces off! She couldn't have been more excited about it either.
She had them on for 2 years!!!

Hailey Ann, you look beautiful!

Now it's Ashlynn's turn for braces!!! I am so glad that we have the insurance to do this for our kids. It is so important for them.

Aiden hates getting his haircut but when I suggested he cut it, he thought that was a great idea! Letting him do it for a bit made it so I could get my turn as well!

And it turned out great!

We babysat Nova for Cindy and Bryce while they went on a trip to the Caribbean, but we only ended up having her for 2 days because our cat Bella took one look at her and ran off! She wouldn't come home for anything! Wouldn't even let us feed her! So we took Nova to stay with Grandma & Grandpa Mackley... a day and a half later, Bella came home and has been happy since. :)
