The girls had so much fun flying the
kites they got from the Easter Bunny!
The wind was just right for getting them
into the air, but not whipping them
around. The day could not have been
any better for flying!!

What a Happy Easter Day!!
The girls were so excited! Although, I don't
think that Hailey really knew what was going
on at first. She just kind of looked confused!
The Easter Bunny was smart this year!!
The girls only got a few pieces of candy. The
rest were things they could play with or use
at church. Ashlynn got her movie Barbie's
Mariposa, which she had been asking for,
for weeks. They each got a coloing book,
a kite, and a little Golden Book, one was about
Jesus, the other about God. We really want the
girls to remember why we celebrate Easter in the
first place.

Our Easter Picnic
We made egg salad, deviled eggs, and turkey
sandwiches for our picnic. Of course we had to have it
indoors because it was kind of chilly outside. But we
had fun anyways! After our picnic was over we
started in on coloring eggs. Boy did the girls have fun!
They just couldn't wait to see what their eggs were
going to look like. They turned out really cute.
(For commercialized egg dying,.. we don't have
anything growing up here to do the traditional
Mackley eggs.) What a fun day!

Spring Break
Remember when we all thought that the people Spring Breaking in St. George needed to just go home? Well, now I know why they do it. It's sooo warm! When we left, Logan still had 2 feet of snow on the ground and Sunny St. George was just that, Sunny St. George. We all decided it was time to get out to the sand dunes, which I haven't visited for years. It is so gorgeous out there. We definately can't wait to move back home. Until then, St. Georgians will just have to get used to one extra visitor driving on the roads!

Bear Lake
Last summer, when Grandma and Grandpa came up to see us,
we took them to Bear Lake. The girls had a blast splashing
around in the water. After playing in the water and chasing the seagulls,
Grandma and Grandpa treated us to raspberry shakes from the
Quick & Tasty. Yumm! The girls fell asleep with in minutes of driving home.
Poor little things! This year we'll have to try camping!!

Snow
This winter in Logan was a doozy! We got sooo
much snow. I had heard that Cache Valley gets
alot of snow but last winter was nothing compared
to what we got this year. In fact, it snowed again
last night! Lucky for us it was only about 1 inch,
and should be gone by tommorow. Yucky snow!
