I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Sleepy?

Just this week we've started putting the girls to bed at 7 o'clock! That's so early for us! Because of this, I haven't been having Hailey take her usual nap at 3:30. The first couple of days she would get sooo tired around 5:30. On night she fell asleep on the couch and on this night she just decided, right in the middle of eating her spaghetti, that she would lay her head down on the table and take a little nap! Both times she's fallen asleep I've had to shake her, holler at her, threaten her with a spanking, if she didn't wake up now! But it wasn't until I told her that if she'd wake up, she could have a Popsicle, did she finally budge! After two or three times of this, she's stayed awake and bed time has been between 7-7:30! It's been great! Why haven't we started this before now?

LOL! Cute little bunny. She must have really been tired. Only a few more weeks, and you will have a new little bundle of Heaven.

Oh she looks so cute! It's so sad when they're so tired that they fall asleep at the table.
