I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Bunk bed ladder/Computer desk/Shelf

Once we got the bunk beds up, Anthony decided that the girls needed a ladder to climb into them. He was concerned that they would be trying to climb down and fall due to the big lip they had to try and climb over before going down. So he sat down at his computer and planned out exactly what he wanted. He then took me into the girls bed room and tried to show me what he was going to do but I had no clue what he was talking about so I told him to just do it!

This is the backside frame of the computer desk and the ladder
This is the finished project. I wish I would have taken some pictures before it was installed. Their room is so small it's hard to get a good picture.

The girls now have a ladder, a computer desk, a self and a platform to climb on to before making the decent down the ladder. It turned out great!

Hey, the bed looks great! I am so glad we saved the beds for you! Another generation gets to use them and that is great. We sure had fun seeing you all this past week end. Glad Alyssa is doing well. Hope Ashie is doing well now. LOVE to you all!

Oh my gosh!! He is so talented! This is sooo awesome! It's going to be great to have a computer for them to work and play on, and the stairs are going to be great to have too. Good job Anthony!

Now all it needs is a little hand rail on each side to grab ontop. Just an idea.

How awsome is that? What a "Handy Andy"
