I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

My Three Mothers

I feel so blessed to have Anthony and the girls in my life. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to raise three healthy beautiful girls. I am so blessed to have a mother that taught me, through example, how to be a good mother, and that she is now an example in my own children's lives. I am so blessed to have a mother-in-law that raised up a little boy, who is now the man I call my husband. I am blessed that she is also another great exemplar in my children's lives. I am blessed that I have a Heavenly Mother who, I am sure, we get our motherly instincts from. We may not remember her, but I am sure that her love for us has left an unforgettable impression, upon our spirits, that helps us be the kind of mother that she would have us be. I hope that I can, some day, be more like them all!

awh your post almost made me cry! Your girls are so cute, I definately look forward to being a mother one day.. :)

as for my blog post lol, we do get to paint and stuff, but it all has to be aproved by the property management. There is alot of stuff that could be changed here and it would make it a million times better. If this was a house we bought, I would have already torn so many things apart lol
