I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Memories

So Anthony and I were watching Wayne's World on TV and it reminded me of a day way back when... April and I had the same BORING science teacher in 10th grade. And I mean that quite literally. Mr. Barben had the most monotone voice and he was a text book reader. Which meant nobody listened because you didn't really need to. At any point, you could look into his class and over half of the kids were lying across their tables, sleeping. One day I brought my camera to school and April and I, being very bored, took a bunch of ridiculous pictures, much resembling Garth from Wayne's World, or so we thought back then, because when I rummaged through my photos and found it, we didn't really look like him at all but it made me laugh and I thought I would share it, and some of the other photos I found.

Anthony and I look so young.

One day, Lyndy, Kate and I took a short drive up the canyon and took a zillion pictures of our selves! Girls are so weird! Wow were we ever skinny!
Natasha's first perm ever. She was such a cute little girl. (Joy, I bet you haven't seen this picture in ages, if ever.)

My ninth grade spring photos. Too bad my eyes are closed. I'm going to have to post this one on my face book for sure!

Me and April~ people used to call us each others shadow & sunshine. Because we were always seen together in the halls, when we weren't together some one would say, where's your sunshine? or where's your shadow.
My favorite picture of me and Colby on his 19th birthday
One of my best friend, Melissa, and I. It's super blurry but you can still see how tiny we both were! We used to tell people we were twins. I'm not sure if anyone ever believed us but it was still fun! Now Mel's getting married next month! Congrats!!
Colby trying to choke Melissa. Again, really blurry, but really funny!

Hope you enjoyed!
