I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

NieNieDialogues

I now know what my sister is talking about. Today I sat in my computer room and cried for this women, I to, have never met. Her story is so sad and brings up such sad emotions, but at the same time, you feel so grateful to have the life you are living. Her simple words also bring the feeling of love and togetherness (if that's a word). I can't begin to imagine what she and her husband have gone through together. Their strength, through her own words, makes me want to be a better wife and mother. I only wish she had comments so that I could express to her how much I appreciate her willingness to share her story.

Hey! I found out that Raspberry days isn't until Aug. 1st because the season got warm so late the raspberries aren't ready yet. So I don't think we will be making it up there. Besides, I am being induced on the 8th and have so much to do I think we need that day to get ready. So... another time I guess. Did he tell you we are moving the 5th of August? Coming quick! Anyway, hope you guys are doing well! Talk to you soon...
