I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Catching up. Again.

I was looking through my blog yesterday and really LOVED that I could look back at years past and see and read what we have been doing.
That is the reason I started blogging.
So, I am going to catch up and get better and blogging more regularly.

~Halloween 2010~

Since we were going trick or treating with all the Vick girl cousin's we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Mackley's house during the day to let them see the girls in their costumes.
We took our pumpkins over there and got to carving!
Anthony did most of it, he's awesome!
We really love carving pumpkins each year.
Too bad no where in SG has pumpkins as big as Logan. :(
They still turned out great though.

The girls asked Grandma why she didn't have her traditional witch costume on, so she scurried up the stairs and put it on.
Alyssa wanted to try the wig on.
I think she makes the best little witch ever!

Grandma and the girls!
Hailey has the witch wig on now...
Alyssa picked up a crown...
and Ashlynn has on my Princess Jasmin crown.
This is what Anthony did with our pumpkins!
Don't they look awesome?!
They're going to look so good lit up!

Next we went over to Grandpa Jack's and Grandma Jo's house.
They love it when the kids come over.
Although, in these picture it looks like they're not so sure!

Alyssa with her little tutu butt!

And her she is trying to get on her toes!
This is how she walks around the house when she's really happy about something.
I really should get her in dance.

Grandma Jo loving on Hailey.

The girls with Grandma and Grandpa Reber.

After leaving Grandma and Grandpa Reber's house we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Vick's.
I finally got a picture with the girls!
I love dressing up and tried to get Anthony to but there was NO WAY he was going to dress up like a street rat.
He had on jeans and a AAA hoodie.
He said that he was an unappreciated-under payed AAA employee!
HAHA. He's so funny!

Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of the girls trick or treating.
This is at the end of the night.
Our pumpkins all lit up!
Alyssa and her baby blues.

Ashlynn and her big browns.
Hailey and her big browns.

Halloween is such a busy day for us but we love it!

Love your costume!! Your girls look so big. Alyssa is not a little baby anymore. You guys are so beautiful. Sounds like things are going good down there in Sunnyville. Tell the girls hello from us. Take care.
