I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirl under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

traveling.

This is a compiled post of some of the places we went summer 2012.
We visited Grandma and Grandpa Mackley again while they were camping on Pine Valley mountain.

We went to Las Vegas and stayed with Cindy and Bryce for a few days

While we were in Vegas we took the kids to town square and did a little shopping!

The Gorge really is a beautiful place.

We spent quite a few days at Grandma and Grandpa Mackley's house.
Grandma Mackley showed us what Doodle Bugs look like and how to catch them.

We took many drives over to Swig. YUM!

April and her kids came to St. George for a visit. We finally got to meet her little boy Britten. He is so sweet.

We spent countless hours with Anthony at his shop.
He built me a shelf to store all of the lotions that I got while visiting in Vegas!

Uncle Ray was home. He let the girls paint his finger nails and toe nails.
 So pretty!

He also let them do his hair and make up.
Is it any wonder he is the favorite Uncle?!

The girls all tired out from plying at Grandma Vick's.

Wow, and it will soon be summer AGAIN and we will have to go to Pine Valley again and enjoy that wonderful place some more. Time to get Aiden acquainted with the joys of the mountains!
