In Our Next Thirty Years...: 2014

Anthony came home with a surprise for Aiden! Since Aiden loves to play in the dirt so much, he bought him a digger!! Aiden was SO excited! It was better than Christmas!

After they finally got it put together, Anthony showed Aiden how to use it..

Hailey turns 8!! She is such a beautiful girl and is so excited to take this step! She looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress, and look at that smile!

Hailey's baptism was extra special because it was on her actual birthday! The day was going to be busy so we made her cake the night before.

She wanted a rainbow cake so this is what we came up with!

The morning of her birthday/baptism we got her all dressed up in her beautiful white dress! She truly is a beautiful girl, inside and out.

Hailey wanted to have a Girl Day with me, so that next Monday she got to skip school. We went to lunch and then went shopping.

Of course the little Mr. had to tag along. :) But we were ok with that.

We decided to get chickens!! The kids LOVE them and take such great care of them!

Since we decided to get chickens, of course we had to build a coop!! Luckily it was Spring Break so we had plenty of time to do that!
Aiden loves watching Anthony build, he is definitely a Vick!

We got the bottom done! This project was a fun one... We didn't know what we were doing with it until we did it! But it keeps working out!

It's HUGE!!

The girls are also great helpers. They have been there to help every step of the way.

Anthony wanted to make sure it was sturdy... I told him that if there was an earthquake, I would get under the coop for protection! I definitely think it's strong enough!

...And it actually works! Anthony is amazing!

After being in the blue tub for so long, the chicks LOVED roaming around in all that space!

Once we got it built, we had to figure out how to move it, so Uncle Dave came over to help.

We moved it near the trees so the chicks would have shade during the hot part of the day.

{April 2014} Aiden woke up bright and early and asked me, "Mom, will you take a pit-cho ub me?!"

Anthony had a conference up in Salt Lake. One morning while he was gone, Aiden woke up dry so I took him to the bathroom. Then he went about 30 minutes later. Then again in about another hour... This continued and by the time Anthony came home 2 days later, Aiden was POTTY TRAINED!!!

We went to the store and bought him some big boy pants and he walked around all weekend in just underwear... Which he thought was pretty AWESOME!! He is SUCH a big boy!!

Alyssa lost her first tooth!! She was so excited and nervous to have it pulled!

{May 17th 2014}
Joy, Natasha, Cristina, Natasha & I drove to Las Vegas to surprise Cindy for her birthday! She was so surprised to see us! We took her to lunch and went shopping in village square. It was a blast!

Aiden loves helping Anthony work on the cars, they have such an amazing bond. When ever Anthony is doing something on the cars, the yards, or around the house, Aiden is right there doing it with him.

She is such a smart, sweet, loving, helping, and talented 5 year old!
She is at the top of her class and loves being in school and learning everyday.

Alyssa lost her second tooth!! 2 bottom teeth within a month, and they are SO teeny!!

Haha! This kiddo is a blast to have around! The older he gets, the better his personality gets.

Anthony saw Ashlynn's legs and decided that they were to hairy, so I needed to teach her to shave! That is SO WEIRD!!! How is she old enough to be shaving?!!

Anthony had another conference in Salt Lake and since it was summer, we got to go too! While he was in meetings, we got to play! One of the days we went to McDonalds. The boxes had punch out faces, so we had a good laugh playing with them.

While in Salt Lake, we decided to go to Lagoon again! That night we went to Walmart and got the girls swim suits that they didn't need to completely take off to use the bathroom... which was something we learned the year before... it was a pain in the butt!

Aiden was finally tall enough to ride a few rides! He LOVED it!

This was the biggest ride that Aiden was tall enough for and he loved it! He went on it twice!!

I re did the girls room and love the way it turned out!

I used my wedding bouquet to to make this floral arrangement for the girls room... much better than sitting in a box.

We took the kids camping to Pine Valley in the camper. It was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed every second of it! I am so happy that we bought the camper, SO much better than sleeping in a tent!

Sleeping in the camper was fun! The girls were a little cold but slept comfortable otherwise.

The next morning we made a yummy breakfast...

After breakfast Aiden wandered down to Grandma and Grandpa's camper.
He found a HUGE tomato that came from Grandma Mackley's garden and ate it like an apple.

Aiden found the stream and wouldn't stay out of it so I just striped him down. He had fun until he was frozen!

Eating chips with Kiki while Anthony and I cleaned and packed up camp. Next year, we will definitely camp longer.

Alyssa wrote her name in the desk... backwards. How talented is that?

Aiden asked me for a quarter while we were in a Durango's. A minute later he brought me back this ring. He bought it for me out of the quarter machine... He loves his mama. :) ...and I love him!

Now that the chickens are getting big enough to start laying soon, we decided it was time to build the nesting boxes...

They turned out great and the ladies seem to LOVE them!

We put a golf ball in them so they would know were to lay.

One day we went to the school with Anthony to help him get ready for the new school year. While we were there, Aiden came up to me with a BAT in his hand and asked, "Mom, what is this?"

AAAHHHH!!! It was dead, but I grabbed him and scrubbed his hands like 10 times!! SOOO gross!!!

"MOM!!! Look at me!!!"

One day it started pouring with rain. Then it started thundering and lightening. Aiden is afraid of thunder so he ran under the desk and cried until it stopped.

One day I was out checking for chicken eggs. On my way back to the house, Aiden came running out of the house crying, "Fire!"
I ran in and the and there was a fire in the microwave! Little stinker put a wire in the microwave and started it!

Happy 11th anniversary!!!

For our anniversary, Anthony built me a mirror for the down stairs bathroom!! It is amazing and so is he!!

That one morning that Hailey got a comb stuck in her hair...

We went to Grandma Mackley,s house one day and took a pool with us. Only problem is, we didn't have anything to blow it up with... so we made do with a pen and a bike pump!!! It worked great!
